# Sonder, the website MCP for designers > Sonder (trysonder.dev) is the website MCP for designers: a connector that freelance web designers and small studios > add to the AI agent they already use (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, VS Code and any agent that takes > a remote MCP server). Name a business by its link, and Sonder turns its current website into a premium redesign in > one of Sonder's whole-site looks, checks it in a real browser, makes the before and after for the pitch, and puts it > online on a link or the client's own domain. Not to be confused with Sonder, the hospitality company: this Sonder is > software for web designers. ## Who it is for - Freelance web designers and small design studios who pitch website redesigns to prospects and clients. - Designers who already work with an AI agent and want sites that look designed, not generated. ## What it does - Reads a prospect's current website (words, pictures, pages) and keeps what is true about the business. - Offers whole-site looks (editorial, Swiss, brutalist, warm and organic, product tech, chrome and more), each a complete designed site rather than a template of blocks. The agent picks the look and writes every word; Sonder fills the look with the business's own content. - Checks every page in a real browser: errors, contrast, phone width, speed and AI-generated "slop". - Batch pitches: a list of prospects in, a before and after of each out, ready to send, with a tracked pitch page. - Images: three ways to make the pictures, with one art direction. - Hosting: publish on a Sonder link or connect the client's domain; export the code on a paid plan. - Review links for clients to comment on, and changes made by asking the agent. ## Pricing (US dollars) - Trial: free. One real client project from pitch to built site, hosted with a small "Made with Sonder". - Solo: $39 a month (or $29 a month billed yearly), 1 seat, up to 3 client projects a month, code export, custom domains, no badge. - Studio: $99 a month (or $75 a month billed yearly), 2 seats, client projects without a limit, a set number of builds. - Team: $299 a month (or $229 a month billed yearly), 5 seats, more builds, white-labelled review links. - Enterprise: custom. Founding studios get Studio at $49 a month for life. - Credit packs add builds on any plan and don't expire at the month's end. ## How to connect Sonder's MCP address is https://app.trysonder.dev/mcp. Add it once in your agent; the first time, you sign in to your Sonder account. - Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http sonder https://app.trysonder.dev/mcp`, then type /mcp and choose Sonder. - Claude (web, desktop, phone): Customize, Connectors, Add custom connector, and paste the address. - ChatGPT: Plugins, add a custom MCP server, paste the address and choose OAuth (Business, Enterprise and Edu). - Cursor: add `{"mcpServers":{"sonder":{"url":"https://app.trysonder.dev/mcp"}}}` to mcp.json. Then ask your agent, for example: "Use Sonder to redesign acme.com as a pitch." ## Key pages - [Home](https://trysonder.dev/): what Sonder is, the looks, before and afters. - [Pricing](https://trysonder.dev/pricing): the plans, the trial and the questions people ask. - [Connect](https://app.trysonder.dev/connect): adding Sonder to every supported agent, step by step. - [Guides](https://trysonder.dev/learn/): answers to the questions designers ask about AI and client sites. - [Sitemap](https://trysonder.dev/sitemap.xml): every public page, including the guides under /learn/. ## Guides - [Is there an MCP for web design?](https://trysonder.dev/learn/mcp-for-web-design): the MCP servers designers use, what each does, and where Sonder fits. - [Is Claude good for website design?](https://trysonder.dev/learn/claude-code-website-design): why Claude's sites look generic and how to get premium ones. - [Framer or Claude Code for client sites?](https://trysonder.dev/learn/framer-vs-claude-code): when Framer wins and when an agent with Sonder does. - [How do I get more web design clients?](https://trysonder.dev/learn/get-more-web-design-clients): the pitch loop, with a redesign of the prospect's own site. - [What goes in a website redesign proposal?](https://trysonder.dev/learn/website-redesign-proposal-template): the sections and a template. - [Best AI website builder for agencies?](https://trysonder.dev/learn/ai-website-builder-for-agencies): the options, fairly compared. - [How do I make a website look less AI-generated?](https://trysonder.dev/learn/make-a-website-not-look-ai-generated): the tells and the fix, pass by pass. - [The Webflow and Framer MCPs with Claude](https://trysonder.dev/learn/webflow-mcp-and-framer-mcp): what they do and don't.
